Summer Events

Both Canada and the United States, together with several South American neighbors, celebrate their national holidays in July. The 1st is Dominion Day in Canada, the anniversary of the formation of the Canadian Federation on July 1, 1867. July 4th is Independence Day for the USA and Argentina, Columbia, Peru, and Venezuela also have Independence Days this month. Puerto Rico has a Constitution Day on the 25th, and observes the birthdays of Munoz Rivera and Barbosa on the 17th and the 27th. Tennesse celebrates Nathan B Forrest’s birthday and Utah has Pioneer Day.
